Description
So I had an old Stanley model and was inspired by John (who designed one as well) to revise my old model. I didn't make many changes to the cab, but I changed the appearance of the boiler and funnel, and added a little bit larger wheels (these are only placeholders, I'd use Big Ben Bricks wheels, which aren't Lego, but are high quality products produced just for Lego models). Maybe I'll revise this model again, as I'm not 100% happy with it.Related content

Stanley's looking great so far, the added detail such as the red lining on the saddle-tank and cab and the smaller wheels really make him look like a grandΒ model.

Thanks! I know many people put on adhesive stripes, but somehow I like the challenge to do them with bricks, which isn't always easy! I'll still need to add some pipes and rods on Stanley.
