Description Here is a street scene I created (which isn't finished yet, mainly due to the lack of houses). All you can see here is my own work. The buildings are compatible with Lego's Modular Buildings and are designed to look British (in consistency with the engines/cars). As said before it is work in progress; I still have to create new designs for houses
Hope you enjoyed it

It looks like something out of the "Thomas" story, "Escape". Good job!

I'm not a big fan of the Claude Hamiltons myself, but I do love your rendition!

Thanks! Interesting though that you recognized the engine as there are many engines with a similar design

Well, it's a dark blue 4-4-0 with red coupling rods, narrows it down a little.

Certainly!
(well except the 'Claude Hamilton' bit, but I'm just biased)

That's exactly my goal: to use unusal pieces to get decent looking designs

Ohhh lovely Lego set, very nostalgic! You should submit this to Lego ideas.

ScotNick In reply to YanPictures [2014-11-17 16:21:23 +0000 UTC]

Hahaha, thanks! But selling this as a Lego set would be around 500-600$, if not more . But the green engine on the bridge is on Lego Ideas (it's a GWR 14xx)

YanPictures In reply to ScotNick [2014-11-19 05:16:08 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, i've seen that, wish this successful, if it's officially a Lego product, I would buy one.

ScotNick In reply to YanPictures [2014-11-19 07:46:33 +0000 UTC]

Yes, I have to promote my 14xx much more, I didn't really do much yet, but so far my project has more supporters than I would've thought without promoting!

Indeed. Would the trains come with it, or would they be separate?

GWRbrony13 In reply to CCB-18 [2014-11-16 00:11:28 +0000 UTC]

I don't really know, I would have liked to have said both, but I don't want to waste the artists time and will say just leave them altogether. It looks better that way, and we have had some loco shots before.

ScotNick In reply to GWRbrony13 [2014-11-28 17:11:04 +0000 UTC]

Hmm, I'm a little bit confused what you want to know now? I'll at times add new buildings to the scene, but as it takes very long to do the render (because I rendered this scene with 3840*2160 pixels) I render only one building and then use photoshop to put it next to the others. Also LDD (Lego digital designer) sometimes closes itself when there are too many bricks. Therefore it's really hard to work with so many bricks. But Maybe I'll take lower-res pics in the future
@CCCB-18: What did you mean with the trains separate? The engines are just Molly and Oliver in the liveries of their prototypes But if you want to see pictures of those, I can upload some
