Cinder had been staying with Tessa to recover from her encounter with Nemesis. Cinder had just finished a walk around the town to help her mind. During a raining night in Mistral, someone knocked at the door, and the person who came through was the director of S.H.I.E.L.D Nick Fury, and his daughter/agent Black Orchid. They both seemed to know who was under the hood. Cinder knew right away who they were, and why they might be here.

Nick: Miss Fall. Can we talk?

Cinder: Depends, talk with words, or fists?

Nick: I prefer words then making a mess. I have an offer you might be interested in hearing.

Cinder: Offer?

Nick: Yes. See S.H.I.E.L.D has been keeping an eye on you for quite some time now. And one thing we noticed was how you were not causing problems, or going after other relics for Salem. But you were just living in this Town with a woman, just like an average person. Wanna tell me what you been doing exactly?

Cinder: I have been recovering from an encounter with a monster Salem had made. It was trying to hunt me down.

Orchid: Why would Salem wanna hunt you down?

Cinder: In her eyes I guess she no longer had a use for me. She only wants the Maiden Powers, and she could take them away from me at anytime. But so long as I proved useful to her, I could live. But I guess I outlived my usefulness.

Nick: And had been taking recovering from her in Mistral. Of course you realize there is nothing stopping Salem from just destroying this Town just to find you.

Cinder:..........

Nick: This woman that has been taking care of you must know about what you have done, but she take you under her care anyway. And you made no attempts to harm her. Can I assume she is the reason you can't leave?

Cinder: She had saved my life. The first and only person to do so. But I know if I stay here longer, Salem will attack this place. And if Salem doesn't capture me, the law would. I am still a wanted criminal.

Nick: This is were my offer comes in. I want you to be an agent for S.H.I.E.L.D.

Cinder: Me?

Nick: With you under the care of S.H.I.E.L.D you would be safer from Salem, and this Town would also be placed under the watch of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Orchid: It's either that or be arrested. Your call.

Cinder:...............Fine, but under one condition.

Nick: Name it.

Cinder: Tessa, the woman who had been taking care of me must know about this. I won't leave her in the dark.

Nick: Fine be me.
