an update design for the snake lady and her race from that aliens dump i posted a while back. the Ophidian Hunters are an uplifted race who where pushed towards sapience to fill a niche in another aliens ground forces. while very snake like they're actually more akin to mammals with tough leathery skin and hair mostly on their heads. their ribcages where modified to act as a sort of intimidation hood, a holdover from their pre uplifted forms. They have forked tongues and have the ability to unhinge their jaws allowing them to swallow larger food stuffs whole. and their bodies are long flexible and muscular and the end of their tail is very dexterous. as a species they hwere where bread to be silent stealth special force hunters.They could probably be much longer now that I'm looking at it.... and i kind of like how they turned out. originally i didn't have the rib/hood but they kind of looked very naked without it and a friend suggested I do something like that. worked out fairly well i guess.
