Backstory - MetroTech (the company behind the show, ArenaBots,) went into a meeting to discuss who the new Bot warrior would be. They were reaching the deadline of introducing a new Bot every month for the fans, but they had no new ideas. Eventually, one of the members started watching all of the old battles on SliverString (internet TV,) and that's when the idea hit him. He explained that all of the Bots they created so far specialized in close quarters combat. But what if they created a Bot that played the role of a sniper? The chairman liked this idea and pushed the team to create this new Bot within 3 days (development normally begins 2 weeks ahead of time.) Thus, Apex was born. Due to the fact he was a rushed product, the development team shipped him with only one eye...but netherless, Apex went on to gain instant popularity among the fans.

Abilities:
☆ Eye of Anguish - Apex's Eye is special in that once it begins to glow a murderous orange, Apex gains a huge boost in accuracy and awareness. It's built with MetroTech's finest motion-sensing gadgets, to the point where Apex can track a bullet when it enters a certain range of him. But that's not all it can do! If enemies get too close to him, Apex can shoot a disruption signal to paralyze electronics.

☆ Excellent Sniper - Apex is without a doubt one of the best shooters around (one of his feats include hitting a US penny from two football field lengths away).

☆ Cloaking - If Apex feels like he is in danger, he can cloak his body to blend in with his surroundings. A good tactic for regaining his distance from the enemy.

☆ Silent Blade - Apex has a short blade that he can use to attack opponents that get in close range. The knife has the ability to steal the sound of whatever it's lodged in, making it the perfect choice if Apex wishes to play stealthy...

Weaknesses:
■ Mobility - Because Apex is a sniper, he typically will not move unless he takes his shot, or his area gets compromised. He has been known for sitting in one spot for entire matches in ArenaBots, the one thing the fans dislike about him.

■ Physical Limitation - When Apex's Eye of Anguish stops working, he has to recharge it. With the fact that he has only one eye, this means that Apex will be exposed to numerous blind spots until his Eye is back operational.

■ Flesh and Blood - The second weakness of Apex's Eye is the close range disruption signal. Sure, it can stop any electronic dead in its tracks, but it's completely useless against human opponents. Arenabots does not feature human warriors, but if Apex somehow found himself in that situation, he'd be at a disadvantage.

■ Lone Wolf - Apex isn't exactly a...team player. If he was in a senario that required him to work with a team, he will automatically distance himself and try to complete the objective himself. Little fun fact: Apex has lost every 2 vs 2 match in ArenaBots.
