Maybe the sides o the skull can use some more shadow to give it the same dimensionality of the mane of hair curling back? Great hair btw. Fluffy and soft, but with some delicious textures.

Agreed, elves are the bane of our lives (overly dramatic there).
I'm not sure I agree with the skull shadowy suggestion, or at the least I'm not going to act on it! lol. This is one of those paintings where I really struggled to hold it all together and my fears that I'd cock it up more are overpowering any sense of improving the image!..
Now go eat some space marines!
