Scott's art for Toothless has been fantastic. Each piece has left me a bit breathless, but to see my good ol' Martin in color like this--I was sad to see the book end, but this makes me want to go back and write it all over again.

I really hope it comes out in print. It's been a pleasure to see you illustrate such an awesome world. One of these months I'll get off my lazy butt and do some not as impressive fan art myself!

Yeah I'd love to see it in print, whether my artwork would be used for it is another thing. But nevertheless I've absolutely loved doing this.. this is definitely my kinda work.. thanks to JP for that
JP is really interested in seeing fan art of Toothless, so goddamn go for it, I say. I've got digi sketches (non commissioned) lying around on my drive that I was scribbling while listening to his work.. classy stuff!

I think it would look awesome with your black and white illustrations included. The colored Toothless painting seems to have been created in book cover format, too!
I'll see what I can do to produce some more images of the world, hopefully I will do it justice.

I reckon the book would look great with aqny b/w artwork.. I would hope that if Jeff can get this book into print that he could get someone like Sweet to do the line work and cover. I honestly believe the book deserves something of that class.

Wow, this is very similar to how I pictured him! His sad eyes are so perfect! I got really attached to him through the course of the story, and this image left me a bit breathless.

lovin' the doubting blue eye. You are certainly not afraid for use really dark tones, like most o the digital crowd.
