I always love how loose and flowing this style is. Makes me want to scribble in Photoshop until I come up with something cool. I love his expression, he looks either depressed or confounded.

If you have Painter IX, use the Cover pencil, that's what I use to do these guys

Pet it, and feed it and look after it forever!
Just make sure you change the grain settings so that it doesn't pick up too much.. it'll take a bit of fiddling but once you have it it's brilliant
