yeah i use to look at his painting with the white ground and distance and try to figure out how they had this atmosphere untill i realised there is the slightest variation in the white

I think you need to light these better when you take pictures. This looks really yellow and I think there's more variation in the space around the bowl in the painting when you see it in person.
