Above is Dr. Serizawa, played by Ken Watanabe, and how his face is everytime he’s shown in the movie. Come on, he’s the scientist. How come he’s always the most stunned person in the scene? Good thing Dr. Graham is always around to interpret his thoughts. XP I see Dr. Serizawa as a huge Godzilla fanboy.
In any case, if you have the chance, go watch this movie on the big screen! You get to feel the more that way. I love the movie despite its many flaws (risking their lives by taking off their respirators for the sake of drama, not getting zoologists for their expert knowledge on animal behavior, etc.)… but really, I love the movie! I loved the old Godzilla series as a kid and this one, which was really faithful to those, really prickled my monster-loving heart. Those Mutos were so damn handsome too. I want to keep them as pets.
