Here is an update for the drawing.

I have focused my attention to the portraits of Sam and Ruby and have begun blocking in the background colors.

With the colors of the background I am trying to convey a little subtle symbolism by the use of Blue and red.
The color blue around the initial portrait of Sam is to represent Sam's basic intentions at using his Demon powers for good but as you will see, the color will turn red half way past the portrait of Ruby; since it is still unknown whether Ruby is truly being good and trying to help Sam prevent the impending Apocalypse or merely just using him for her own demonic dark purposes.
The background the larger portrait of Sam will be more Red than Blue to illustrate the thought that no matter what good intension's Sam may have; he is traveling down a dangerous path.
