A warm hideout for the winter.. lots of zoom appeal I think, but it still wants for a bit more clutter..at least a musket hanging over the mantel...any suggestions? If you mention it and it fits, I will add it.* musket and a few more things added- more later.

I agree with =dunwich7, some pieces of clothing on a hook or a blanket or something similar.
What about a fish trophy of some sort... u know one of those stuffed fish mounted on a board. It'd look good on one of the walls i think.

This really has a lot of detail already
And it looks like a really comfortable, warm place.
As for suggestions... Maybe some tools for mending clothing (Needle, thread, pair of scissors, pieces of leather and cloth)? And/or some pieces of clothing, folded up or hung on a hook. And/or a blanket.

A butter churn or fishing pole? Maybe a beaver pelt or something?
I really like it! It has a great feel to it, inviting, warm. I'm sure I"m not alone in saying I need a place like that to go for a little while.
