I love this. I love all of your art, but this is one of my favorites. The strong diagonal lines really give it a sense of movement, And the colors you chose are just gorgeous. I love how loose your style is; you still get a sense of what is being depicted and it feels really detailed, but it's still loose enough that it's a little mysterious and ambiguous. I think that's awesome, and really hard to do.

You're mood might be shitty, but you're art is better than ever! Seriously, it looks great!

At least you still make wonderful art!
when I'm feeling shitty, my art- not that it's very good to begin with-
ends up looking like I used a marker that ran out of ink half way through and I tried to cover it up with a different colored marker that also ran out of ink halfway through.
;d
but on ms paint.
Anywho.
I love this piece!
I'm especially digging the red "ribbon" motion coming from his arm. And his.. toothed neck/chin piece.
mmMMH.
Hope you feel better, boo. ♥

I know, I've been feeling like a sack of ground up kidney stones myself. Although it's cold and grey, and it probably doesn't mean much, coming from a faceless message across the Internet, but if you keep on giving what you can, either you will naturally find a better state, or a better state will find you naturally. Sometimes we don't realize how valuable things are, how great things are underneath their briny hide, but sometimes to get better, things need to get worse. I often find that if it's not that, for me it's either hormonal or I've got a creative block, so maybe you've just got to strike the right chord to get back to being functional.

not at all, I really appreciate your comment. It means a lot.
I apologize for dragging my emotional baggage here onto my art, it was a moment of weakness.
don't know what it is, i think i just need to ride it out.
