My Boyfriend has a talent when it comes to yarn and canvas. Making quite a few G1 Transformers. Most in 3d and standing two to three feet in height.(There's been a debate of late on who designed these, Tony still has all these patterns, he designed and made them himself, sure he had a teacher at one time, but she had no part in making these)
Hasbro of course owns the characters but we still have fun with them ^^

These are beautiful~! He does seem to have a very great talent; it takes a lot of patience and time to actually make a project, but designing a project is a lot more frustrating.
I can't really imagine plastic canvas being huggable, though. That confuses me. >.<
