Mmmm tastes like chicken. >;]Part of an artist challenge/project thingy of pairing an animal with something it's associated with started by !
Having the Latin name of the animal and working in 3x3 dimension was part of the project spec's. A bunch of other people have done some so you may notice them pop up from time to time!

Hahhaa was the baby good, boy? I'm sorry but I have to nag, because DIngo is Canis familiaris dingo, because they are wildDOGS and evolved from dogs, not from wolves.

Dogs are still Canis lupus familiaris (since they evolved from grey wolves, Canis lupus lupus) and dingos are considered diverged enough from dogs to be Canis lupus dingo. Still able to breed with dogs and wolves but different than domestic dogs. :]

That's the Latin name for the Dingo? The only Latin name more unimaginative then that is the gorilla: gorilla gorilla.
