Another product of some spring cleaning--I actually started painting this back in December, I think, and have been slowly adding bits of paint to it when I have the time. Some parts I like, a few things I wish I could have done differently...but in the end its nice not to half have finished paintings cluttering up my workspace. :]

A rose in the desert is a diamond that reflect the light of the dawn while beneath the oasis waters of a cool fresh spring. So beautiful, so elegant, so emotionally perfect! I have nothing to advise save that whatever your doing-don't change it! I can't enphisize that enough! Your art is superb! (I sound like such a cock sucking fan boy now, let me try this again.)
Your art shows great emotion, both in color tone, and facial emotion, the body structure is sound without flaw, and the shading is beyond my skill (as is most of this art piece) I can feel the symbolic representation of the rose at it's height of love, while the desert states challange and difficulty, the rose also suggests fertility and life-while containing the classic pure love quality, also, the horses show representation of elegance, grace, power, and fertility (it's the *you know*) while also holding tight family grouping.
You've given this much thought, or at least very much passion, for that do I honorably approve your efforts, never stop in your artistic talent, else the world will cry without realizing it is because a man denied them of a gift that would have empowered life itself. Thus do I conclude my long winded post by saying that Honesty is never flattery, it is only itself.

and these have perfec proportions (cause sometimes they have bigger head than body)

Amazing! I love all the tiny details, like their fur coats and the way each finger seems to have it's own hoof instead of fingernails. It's a beautiful shot, a very tender moment.

This one is acrylic (specifically Golden brand.) Usually, I use watercolor then add a bit of detail with acrylic, but for some reason I started this in acrylic and then had to finish it with the same.
