"White Lie"
"Little lies always come back in the end."
She is innocent and honest to those whom are true with themselves, but with every lie she grows and grows until, what was small and harmless...isn't. She turns into something that hurts, rends, and tears. Little lies distilling into fabulous fabrications. She targets the people that lie to themselves the most. They tell the biggest lies of all.

If a character is vehemently lying to themselves about something, then finally breaks and accepts the truth in the middle of being attacked by White Lie, would that breaking moment stop White Lie from hunting/attacking them, or would she continue to attack, riding on the inertia of rage or something like that?

I'm up for leaving it to individual interpretations. Whatever works best to fit into each persons' story.
On that note, if were handling her myself, I would say that by being honest about accepting the truth, White Lie would have nothing left to "feed" off of. She'd just be a little white lie again.

Does she like people that are very honest or does that just keep her from wanting to kill them?

She is good to those whom are honest to themselves, so even if the person tells no lies to other people, if there's that small truth the individual chooses to ignore about themselves (they say they're ugly when they're not, they say they're nice to other people when they really aren't, etc.), she can grow cruel from that. She's harmless until the lies build up. If the person is truly honest, she's just a little harmless thing. Yes, perhaps a nice thing too.

My OC is a Boogie-man like being that eats lies, and gets stronger the more lies he comsumes... and when he eats enough of someone's lies, he'll transform and go to eat them too! xD
