i prefer not to think his sacrifice was sad, but noble, to sacrifice his life for the sake of the world, and to amaze in his will. finn's mind almost didn't have a chance against the crown.

Oh course I see his sacrifice as a noble deed however its still sad especially when we see what he's become. Oh and you're right about Finn giving in to the crowns powers. Simon was able to stay sane much longer then Finn did. Poor kid never stood a chance.
