Rainbow dash as a night guard under the terrible Nightmare Moon.Day 75! I think I may have been one of the first in the fan art community to make this version, as I have yet to see other original pieces depicting this version of Rainbow Dash. If so, win for me!
I may be overlooking someone though.

She would probably be the most powerful soldier under Nightmare Moon's command in that timeline, but there are ways to off her.

Well, assuming of course the mane 6 is not united, and her friends during Nightmare Moon's take over likely was just a flawless sweep of power, she probably just gave up like everyone else. And since she's the element of loyalty, without guidance from the rest of the elements, she is loyal to whoever she chooses. By this stage, Nightmare Moon would have been in power for a while, so I imagine Rainbow Dash has had plenty of time to adapt to serving.

i loved it when Twi saw her like this and had the shocked/hurt look on her face. the Finale was amazing as far as im concerned. im rewatching to get ideas for Fics and Artwork. ill put what im working on up here when its done. its of the Changeling Invasion timeline.

Makes me think of those bat wings are part of the armor, cause I ain't seeing any batpony ears there, so probably just part of the armor...

That was my thought as well. All the bat ponies have exactly the same colour of tail and wings, so I'm guessing they all kind of use hair dye in the tails to keep things uniform, and the armour includes wing covers. You'll notice even the bat ponies have different coloured coats, but the wings are all identical.

As the element of loyalty, given no one else to be loyal to, I imagine Nightmare moon knows her potential. It would make sense if she was one of the elite. Also considering she's in the court of Nightmare moon and not outside on a wall somewhere.

Just a quick question.. Do you think that the Bat Pony wings on Rainbow are real in this universe, meaning NMM turned all normal pegasi into bat-ponies, or do you think that they're just wing covers, like with Fluttershy's "Flutterbat" costume? I mean, the covers still allow for normal flight if used.. Thoughts?

My guess here is that it's probably wing covers, given that her tail is different could simply be hair dye. But the reason I don't think it's magic is because that would likely change her entire form, not just one or two things on her.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, saying as the only Guard member that doesn't have slit eyes and bat ears is Rainbow.. Thanks! (I'm building universes with these things, so.. I'd just wanted consensus.)
