Description
Mheetu is Nala's younger brother, who was eventually deleted and never made it into the film. As far as I know there's no "official" image of what he looks like, but I drew this picture of him all grown up and playing with his little niece, Kiara. If I recall right, there was a lot of speculation that he was Scar's child, which is probably why I gave him the orange color instead of pale like Nala.Brought over from an old account. I wonder if Nala was. I remember the speculation but it has been a few years since I have visited TLK fandoms and don't recall which way the consensus was leaning.

There are many theories, the ones I always supported where the ones related to the second movie:
Nuka being Scar and Sarabi's child
Vitani being Scar and Nala's
And most of the outlanders being Scar's children.

Okay, Azola is, as far as I know, DJ88's design, the story is a theory from this fan, just like I can have my own theories. I kind of don't understand how can you debate my theories with other fan theories and fan made characters xD. With all due respect, please don't do that, also, in one interview the TLK 2 writers once said that Zira was not Scar's mate, and in a website that sadly got taken down they said she was Scar's sister (they really, really didn't care about this movie, did they?) you can research those "mistakes" on the web and you'll find a lot of funny things

Oo, I said "with all due respect" and I think I was pretty respectful on my reply (reviews comment) yep I was, no swear words, no offenses and I just asked to please don't put a fan theory over other fan theory because, at the end, they are mostly the same, and my laughter was towards the irony of it, I mean, I was just pointing the irony of it and I didn't even think in offending you xD.
I'm not mad at all, really, sorry if you took it that way (should I apologize for that? Well, anyway, sorry xD). It's just a movie after all so I don't get mad when it comes to theories at all, if you think it's logical then it's logical for you, I was just a bit amused about the defending something as canon using fanmade characters and fanmade videos, that was what I was pointing out.
I saw the movie, never explained why Vitani looks more pridelander-ish than the other lions, sadly Disney now gives a crap about most of its movies and comics and such so we never get anything explained nowadays u_u.

I feel like he does resemble cub Simba a little, but not so much Simba as an adult. I think it might be because I accidentally made his muzzle a tad short. Otherwise I tried to give him some of Scar's features (such as the nose shape and beard)

I actually heard that some people thought that Mheetu was a white lion due to the concept art, which was often uncolored, other people think that Mheetu would have become Scar's adoptive heir or even his son, so the dark coloration makes since also. In real life lions with darker manes are considered the most handsome, and the most handsome is the leader of the pride, so I imagine Mheetu being a white lion so Simba can have a darker mane, making him the leader. But that's just my head-canon..... yours seems nicer, though....

I think the ones with the dark manes are the best looking in real life, also! Isn't that funny though, looking at Scar and Mufasa.
I can't even remember the Mheetu crowd, it was a while ago when I drew it. I don't think I'd heard of him being white though, so that part seemed new to me. I've seen him pale alot (don't think I've seen him white though), and I always just figured it was because Nala was pale also.
But I am partial to this design. I love the pink nose especially. Haha. I haven't seen a whole lot of orange lion with brown mane rather than black.

Another quality that the females find attractive is the fullness of the mane, and Mufasa's certainly is fluffier! And I have a feeling that the only reason why Scar's would be darker is because he's never gotten in a fight, supposedly when a lion loses a fight it falls off and grows back lighter. Mufasa probably got into a couple of fights when he was younger, but he managed to prevail in the end. That or his is just lighter because he's a good guy.
Some white lions are actually a pale cream color such as this guy , so I was talking about that. Sorry for not being very clear.

thats a lot of interesting stuff about lions. If their mane really does lighten when they loose, it's like a mane of shame. Everyone would know!
