Description
So... yeah.Varekai is a companion of one of my OCs (Emery), and she kinda follows him around everywhere, or tries to -- she's the level-headed, gentle one. As for size, she's not giant-huge, but she's not tiny either, and other than that, her design will probably go through a few changes.
Oh, and before anyone asks, yes, I was inspired by Cirque du Soleil (the name), and the overall style by =Shinerai .

This is impossibly beautiful. The stylish sliding lines, the aerodynamic body, the rather delicious combination of rubber-black, lime green and white.

Of course when the picture doesn't go big enough for me to see details... that's when you don't put up the no critique sign...
I think she's missing a green nail.
I donno if the bottom of the wing should have a green stripe.
The face seems a bit cluttered, but that's because of the feather mane.
The wings have very little depth to them.
I like the joint structure of the front legs as well as how you did the curled paw. claw... thingy.
I would never have guessed that this had anything to do with Cirque du Soleil.

She's not missing a green 'nail' (they're markings, anyway), they're meant to be only on the outer two of her hind claws. What do you mean the 'bottom' of the wing? And yes, I was aiming for more detail on the face/head, so that was intentional -- I'm aware it does make her look unbalanced, but why would you always want perfect-looking characters all the time?
As for the depth of the wings, could you please redline it? I'd like to see specifically what you mean. Her right wing was placed like that, despite it looking awkward, to show the wing patterns originally, but when I coloured it I realised that you wouldn't need a better view of it anyway.

No need for perfect characters. I think I was viewing it as 'how could this be a prettyfuller picture' as oposed to 'what does that character look like' I think there are too many beautiful characters in your rooster. Feel free to have a scruffled up cat with a hernia and clubbed toes.
By wing depth... well you didn't shade the wings, or do much to show that they were feathers other than those parabulas at the color trasphers. Don't think I'm yelling at you for not shading. I'm not... It's just that those wings arn't believable except for maybe their position. For the right wing, I liked it. Almost makes me think there's a breeze blowing and it caught her wing.
I was talking about the left wing. On the top it goes black, green, white. On the underside it's Black, white, a little line that denotes devision, then more white. Again, could be what she looks like.
Also I don't wanna do a redline. I'm only guessing that that's where I would copy the pic into paint and draw some red arrows pointing to what I think I'm talking about.

The colours and markings on this... They look so naturally shaped. Very zen or something! I don't know, It just looks amazing! It's not a very common way to do markings! It rocks! Very beautiful!
