~Unsound Remains~I taste blood where your wreckage lay,
I've marked it all over your skin,
as reminders that you're no good,
and neither am I.
Wandering through the wreck,
not knowing what I'm searching for,
it all wraps around me,
as it tries to bring itself together.
Trapped inside you,
Can't get over,
Can't go under,
Can't get through,
Why would I want to?
It hurts to say,
your voice sounds so far from in here,
I wish you were here,
Being consumed is lonely.
I want to crawl up your chest and touch your heart,
go on up to your throat and hear your voice,
get to your eyes,
and see the world through them.
I'll hold you together from inside,
despite yearning for the things that I miss,
hoping that you could live to see them,
it's all still yours to burn.

This is a great stanza...love itΒ of course...girl you have talent...you ever submit to journals? Β I have for every ten maybe 1 gets in...its a trying process but worth it

Thank you. I don't usually submit to any journals but if I did, I would be very selective of what I would want featured because not all of them are a complete impression of what I can do so far, so it wouldn't be for every ten, maybe for every one or two.
