I'm currently working on a novel set in India, circa 5000 B.C.
Inspired by the many Houses and their sigils imagined by George Martin and their illustrations by user LiquidSoulDesign, I'm trying out similar symbols/banners for the dynasties and groups in my novel.

This is the Suryavansha, the Solar Dynasty. Their banner is a red horse running across a green field, with the sun in the background. For their words, I've chosen a hymn in the Rig Veda that is dedicated to Surya.
