Description
A Hag as described in the Harry Potter series. Like Erklings, Hags are a fascinating race that don't really come up in the stories themselves. All we know is that they are flesh-eaters and used to capture and eat human children, that they can do rudimentary magic like potions but not wanded spells, and that they basically look like your average witch if she had a lot more warts. Oddly enough, we don't know of any male hags (hag being obviously a female-only term); my theory is that male hags are called ogres (one lone ogre is mentioned in one of the books and then quickly forgotten).
