You stop watching a show for ten years, and they add an evil pony with a neglected background and an antisocial pony who loves to read, hates being with others, and her only friend is a baby dragon she basically treats as a slave. I LOVED IT! I know that;s awful, but I just couldn't stop laughing when i went to check this show out. course, then nightmare moon changed back...

These are all great poses and expressions of the feared Nightmare moon, each one a great piece unto itself. The straight-on is especially impressive (not least of all because it can be the hardest view to do). It's also great that you included a Shadowbolt too.
However, with all that fierceness and the strong expressions, the last image of the forlorn sweetheart behind all of the madness is very touching. What a wonderful way to show every side of the feared goddess.

Pretty awesome job, have to love the Luna in the corner there, really makes this piece come together.

It's a new MLP cartoon. There's a few eps on Youtube under My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. It's actually really cute and funny without being too corny.
