This one's taken me a while, but I hope the end result was worth it...I wanted to submit it for the Firefly Cookbook cover art contest. I'm hoping for a win on this, just because it's been a project that I've put a lot of personal time into developing, and there's a place in my heart for this kind of group-meal atmosphere as depicted in the series, "Firefly". This is just fabulous! There are so many wonderful little touches--I particularly love Inara, Wash/Zoe and Shepherd Book. I also love how you handled the lighting. Very well done!

I think...I'd be fairly scared if Jayne started to sing. lol. but 'nyways, great job. I really like it. also, I read some of the comments (because I'm a freak like that) and I literally laughed really loudly when I read the whole 'you can't take the pies from me' version of the opening song. XD

I think if you google "browncoat cookbook" you'll find out what it is--a fan organized project with a few names attached to it....it's a non-profit kind of deal, which is why this piece was disqualified, (as it features "likenesses" of licensed characters....)
