This one's taken me a while, but I hope the end result was worth it...I wanted to submit it for the Firefly Cookbook cover art contest. I'm hoping for a win on this, just because it's been a project that I've put a lot of personal time into developing, and there's a place in my heart for this kind of group-meal atmosphere as depicted in the series, "Firefly". Please enjoy, and thanks for giving it a look.--Steve.

As my favourite pairing in the series is Wash/Zoe, I love how you captured them most of all.

It's a great picture! The only thing that bothers me is Jayn... Adam's head is kinda egg-like. It's soposed to be an oval shape and not as square as you made it. The others turned out great though.

Actually, was disqualified for submisison of an "image or likeness" of characters whose legal ownership was likely held by Fox television. (And you know what Fox thought of "Firefly"..)

The cookbook was a fan-based idea to raise money for charity...they didn't want to incurr any legal trouble. (Which kind of makes it anti-Firefly, right...?) Well...I can understand, so, I'll go quietly, but--it still rubs me a little.

The cover that won is pretty good, it has a bunch of objects on it that signify Firefly, but it's the characters that really give the show it's personality.

I couldn't decide on which of your lovely Firefly/Serenity pictures to comment on but I ended up choosing this one for some reason! you did a great job on all of them but I think this one shows a bit more what the entire crew is like.... Good luck with the Cookbook cover art contest!!

actually--i was disqualified for featuring likeness (stylized, albeit) of cast-members whose image belongs to the ingrates at fox brodcasting....but i do thank you--it still remains a hopeful piece.
