I keep hearing about this movie (and I adore Tim Curry) I should watch it. Great coloring job, very atmospheric, dark, evil . . . but the horn provides hope . . . even though it is tarnished.

Tim Curry as the devil. What delightful casting. ^____^ Now I have to find this movie someplace.
Very very nice job on the coloring. He looks very alive, and very intimidating. The purple-ish shadows look really nice against the dark red, especially since given the character and situation you'd expect the shadows to be black.

Not the devil, per se...."Darkness", more as the personification of evil, and the corruption of innocence (hence the unicorn horn)....Though his likeness is very typical of devil imagery, with cloven hooves for feet, red skin, and horns....

don't mind my hyperspecification....i'm just nitpicky on details, sometimes. check out the movie, though...it's schlocky, but it's tolerable 80's fantasy--ridley scott, even.
