Description
This picture was inspired by a story I was told at the concentration camp that wherever red popies grow, death and bloodshed took place there. The picture is a portayal of how hearing that made me feel.

I called this piece Resilient because to me, thats what the Jewish community is after facing the tragedies that they did in places like Bunchenwald and the other concentraion camps.

When I was in the 8th grade a Holocaust survivor came and spoke to the school about her experiences and it really touched my heart because even after everything she went through she was still faithful to Judaism.
