The Photo Friday challenge last week was "orange" and I was lucky enough to get some great shots of this beautiful fellow. Even though I didn't use this particular capture for the challenge entry I quite like how it turned out!PS: I don't know what it is with the bugs lately...but hey whatever works!

I really like the focus on this one. Great color too, very vibrant. It's a great view of things so small they might have been missed.

Lol I live in Texas...I don't know what is up with the strange bugs lately, I've never seen the like around here either!

I got lucky and found him in a good mood while getting water in the sprinklers by the garden! He let me get close quite a few times surprisingly!
I don't know what type the little one is but he's a strange looking creature to be sure!

This looks so alien like. It kinda reminds me of that planet of flying bugs where Teal'c got stung. That was such an amazing ep. This is so cool....I didn't know there were such creatures!

I've never seen one before this year either! I was lucky enough to catch him when he was getting water too so he was pretty agreeable to let me get close as long as I didn't get between it and the spinkler lol.
