Heh you're very wrong...they are both real and very alive. I have various angles of the dragonfly as he flew from post to post in the garden to prove it! (well the little one isn't alive anymore...my dog ate it after the dragonfly knocked it off the top of the rebar )

wow.. i ve just never seen a blue buggy like that
and the dragonfly's bottom right wing is pretty damaged... great capture then

Heh believe me I'd never seen anything like it either!

Yeah he was pretty damaged...you can see it even more here in the photo I submitted for the photoFriday challenge: [link] . I guess they're pretty hardy creatures though because it wasn't affecting his speed or motion as he flew away from me a couple of times heh.

Thanks! I took it in my back yard near our garden . They were getting water from the sprinklers we had going there.

Thanks! Yes actually I did see them fight ...the dragonfly won and knocked the other erm thing into the vegetable garden where it was eaten by my black lab. The food chain at work!

Oh cool! But uh...Not so cool about your dog eating the other thing. Grossness! Once my cousin's dog picked up a fly and crunched it a few times, spat it out and picked it up a few times, and finally decided to eat it! XD
