Description
More Joe Mad for practice. Tried acrylic inks on this one... clogged the shit out of my brush but had a cool effect in some areas. I cussed a lot on this one. Moving on to some pages soon.Pencils - Joe Madureira

Ultimates is a Marvel gig...
**edit**
Valkyrie looked a little too fragile so I beefed up a lot of her outlines so she didn’t blend too much into the background… subtle differences but effective… or something. Yeah I still don’t really know what I’m doing…

FW inks?
Clogged your brush?
Did you try thinning with alcohol?

Wasn’t sure how to go about thinning it correctly. I have other inks that I was thinking of thinning it with… I have some Black Star and Noodlers. Will alcohol affect the opacity?

I havent used Black Star or Noodlers, however what i did with FW, Speedball and the kuretake is to just test it on bristol to see what they needed to flow well.
Some need distilled water, others alcohol. It was another way of figuring out what made inks wash better and how they needed to be cleaned.
