Description
Serious question: ...how does this look?I would VERY much appreciate comments and tips because I haven't drawn LINELESS (seriously, there's no lines on this one ) since around the time of this image: Warrior (in December of 2014 I did make a lineles piece that was better than that but I can't find it -.- )
So, please, I don't do lineless and I always cell shade - since I decided to try to do something different, I am really hoping for some feedback ^^ Thank you!

For you first time drawing lineless in a couple years, this turned out great! The movement is powerful and the colours work really well together. The only thing is that the background would be a little bit brighter in order to make the mane stand out some more.
If you're looking for some tips, I would first suggest to look at a ton of reference photos for the colour you're working with, and of horse anatomy in general to see how the light works and where the features are. Since there are no lines, you also have to watch where you're putting the colours (the colour on the belly slides a bit onto the far rear leg) and really define where the shadows and highlights are.
For me, the best part of this work is the face. It is highly-detailed, and looks really good without lines. An area for improvement would be on the hind legs, as they look a bit flat (legs are a real pain to shade realistically at first, this is where references come in handy!).
All in all, this piece looks wonderful; keep up the good work!

OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS!! The shading in this is amazing, I'm really loving the softer look! It really makes the image more realistic. The lineless aspect is fantastic as well. In my opinion, you could make the image more rounded if you use some darker shadows on the body to make it look more rounded. Right now the shading defines where the muscles are really well, if some darker ones were added along the bottom of the neck, stomach, and legs where light doesn't hit, it would seem even more realistic. But overall, it's definitely a great step in the right direction!

This looks really nice. I suggest that you do darker and more defined shadows to give it a real touch more like you did on the head. By tghat I mean try to put some deep shade where you'd usually draw a line in a lineart.
I also like the neck on it.

I'm loving the movement in this piece. I think the lineless part turned out absolutely fantastic. They way you shaded in the muscles is point-on, and I just adore this guy's design! The blues in the background really add to the dramatic air of this piece.
