Arkenstone brought herself to drop Ramara’s tail and stepped back, still trying to appease the mare, who had been at Scutterland Stables much longer than she had. She watched Ramara quizzacly, not sure what she would do next…and wondering if she should be running for her life right about now. Fortunately, all she had earned was an ugly look, to which she grinned in return.
