-Has the odd habit of "obsessing" over things, like a task or a challenge or a quest, and cannot rest until it has been completed.
-Needs a fair amount of motivation to get her to put effort into things; needs some sort of reward at the end - in other words, there needs to be something in it for her.
-Has absolutely no idea just how short she is, and is almost never intimidated
-Is slow to bond with humans, downright near impossible to bond with horses, but bonds rapidly with other fawnlings.
-Prefers a small, cozy little place, rather than huge open spaces
-Hates the dark
-Can ALWAYS find something to complain about
-On the rare occasion she is afraid, intimidated, or even generally uneasy, you would never get her to admit it.

She definitely likes being the center of attention and everything conforming to her ways, and she can't stand the thought of anyone thinking little of her, and so will do almost anything to impress people, and can be rather careless. A strange but somewhat accurate summary would be to say that if Idris were human, her last words would probably be "I can do that, hold my beer".
History:
Daddy was a pet. An extravagant gift given by an old cattle farmer to his wife, who had often been heard complaining that everything they possessed was an eyesore. Now with her majestic new companion, she was a great deal happier. Her new-found pet, not so much. He quickly became depressed and lonely, and so they quickly got him the first fawnling friend they could find - a little doe. And one thing led to another (as they usually do) and little Idris was born. As a fawn, the least to say would be that she was bored, with calves being not-so-entertaining company for her, and thus no one her own age to play with. Even her parents could find her quite tiresome, trying to keep up with her while she frolicked around, so she quickly developed her independent personality, as well as her desire to impress everyone, as it was amazingly easy to feel small when you were a tiny ignored fawn on a huge farm. As she grew, so did her rambunctious ways, until finally as a young adult still wrestling to find her place in the world, disaster struck. First came the wind, with a noise like a stampede that shook the trees and the ground, followed by an eerie atmosphere still and silent as death. When the entire concentrated force of the wind, bound up into a tube stretching into the sky, ripping up everything in its path, making things that should never have flown suddenly become airborne, her entire life was destroyed - literally. All the remnants of the farm, even her parents, were gone. Injured, alone, and barely holding on, at first she struggled with the guilt that she had survived when her parents hadn't. But she didn't have much time to grieve. Herding, shipping, more faces than she could count passed her by in a blur, until her most clear memory of that turmoil was the last trailer ride - when she'd been put into a shiny black horse trailer, not realizing it would be for the last time in a long time, and when they arrived, the door opening and stepping out into her new home.
