EnglishThe idea for this illustration was to make a retro robot on the surface of the moon. While I was working on it I found out that it wasn't interesting enough so the original illustration ended up as the reflection on the cosmonaut's helmet.

La idea para esta ilustración era hacer un robot retro en la superficie de la luna. Mientras trabajaba en eso me dí cuenta que no era muy interesante así que la ilustración original terminó siendo un reflejo en el casco del cosmonauta.

nope, pure photoshop. Used photos as references only but did not work WITH photos or anything

Great concept and perspective, and use of colour. I first I though the sky behind him was too empty, but after looking at the image a couple of times I think anything in that space would have been too much.
Overall, a fabulous image!

En realidad quería hacer algo retro, y podía haber usado un alien tipo Mars Attacks, pero me gusta el ambiente que se crea cuando ambos personajes no tienen expresión reconocible. Muchas gracias por tu comentario y por el watch! saludos
