So... I know this seems kind of stupid... But there's a huge reason behind why I drew this... I didn't want it to be a sad drawing, or a happy drawing... Just... A drawing.

This is going to be a bit of a rant, so be prepared. And it contains some swearing.

Anyways, four days ago, Cry posted a really long post on tumblr about how he was really stressed out. For many reasons.
Number one, people are expecting too much of him. People are asking him to look at their art, or read their fanfic or whatever, and they're demanding videos at all hours, and it's not fair. He's got a life. He's got friends. He's got stuff to do. And he doesn't need to share with us his personal life. He gets thousands of messages every day that constantly demand replies and his attention, and he just can't give that. He doesn't need to interact with every single one of his fans. Heck, I'm a fairly sociable person, but I get to a point, as everyone does, where interacting with people is physically and mentally draining. It not fair for thousands of people every day to demand so much of him. He's one guy, and as it states in his blog, it's really overwhelming for him.
Number two, people who assume they know Cry sooooo well, and know evveeerything about him. Well, when you watch someone's videos for a long time, it's nearly impossible to feel like you know someone. Which isn't a terrible crime, but let's face it. We don't know these people. They have their own lives, and their own personalities, and their own way of living and acting when they aren't recording videos. Why don't know Cry. We don't love him for who he is. We can believe we do all we want, but in reality, we don't. We love Cry for his humor and his videos. I'm not saying he's a bad person, what I'm saying is, we don't know him. And he doesn't have the time or the energy to be everyone's friend. Sorry.
Finally, number three is the point I feel strongest about:
For the love of fucking god people, stop treating Cry like a character. He's a real person. Stop writing gory and sexual fanfictions. Stop shipping him with whoever the fuck you please, whether it's PewDiePie or the Reader. Just STOP. It's terrible.
For example, PewdieCry; The most common shipping with Cry. The fanbase is mostly stupid girls. I wouldn't hate that pairing, if it was real. If in some fucked-up parallel universe, PewDiePie and Cry wanna get together, by all means, they can be my guest, I'm happy for them. whatever. But the reason why I hate that shipping so much ( aside from the fact I'm not a huge fan of yaoi as it is, ) is because all those fangirls are "shipping" real people. And even before I read this in Cry's blog, I felt very strongly about this. All those ravenous fangirls treating them like their own characters; In no way take consideration as to how Cry would feel reading some disgustingly inaccurate and crappily written fanfiction involving sex with one of his friends. It's heartless and careless and disgusting. And every single time I read another shitty fanfiction, with Cry having some dramatic backstory, and gore and sex and violence, it makes me lose a little more faith in humanity. In the blog post, Cry mentioned a fanfiction about an abusive father, and fucked-up family. I've read MANY fanfictions like that. They're all the same repetitive shit that end up with PewDiePie and Cry fucking. Another aspect of this whole thing, is that in countless fanfictions, Cry isn't Cry, he's "Ryan". Which isn't only inconsiderate, but down right rude. I can't even imagine how awkward it would be to find a crappily written fanfiction about Scy x Jay Alayna x Maggie, ending it sex or violence or something like that. Cry calls himself Cry for a reason. If he wanted everyone calling him Ryan, I'm sure his channel would be called "Ryan Plays: The World." Plus, I don't understand how people can write that. I find it painfully awkward addressing Cry and PewDiePie as their real names, and unless I meet them in real life, they will always be known know them as Cry and PewDiePie for me.
*Sighs* In short, I feel really bad for Cry. I feel bad that he has to put up with all this crap. I mean, I'm sure he's really happy as a YouTuber, and all the positive fanart and lighthearted fanfiction people write/draw, and that he loves making videos and playing games, but I really feel bad that he can't just do what he loves without all this other stuff. And the worst part is, I feel like it's my fault. Even though I don't write R rated fanfiction or call him 'Ryan', I still feel like I'm partially to blame. Because of all the idiots in this fandom, I'm afraid to be open about the fact that I really like Cry. I'm afraid I'll be seen as just another ravenous fangirl that thinks Cry "Ryan" is my best friend forever.

Basically, the point I want to make is, ( even though you'll never read this, ) I'm so sorry Cry.
I'm sorry for all this shit. I'm sorry you have to deal with all the pressure and constant demands from your fans. I wish there was something insignificant me could to do help.
But since there's nothing I can do, I'm just going to say, thank you; For putting up with all this anyways, and not completely losing faith in us, and always making videos. They're really important to me, and make me laugh all the time. :3 Thank you.
