I do sell my pieces except for those I simply can't part with. Gene Kelly is one of them. I knew I was on the right track when I made that drawing because it didn't take me much time. It took my 5 hours which is exceptionally fast for me. When I draw that fast it either turns out really good or really bad. The bad ones wont be posted here, obviously
I do have a website but it's still under construction. Unfortunately it will be in Dutch because my target audience will be people in my neck of the woods. I hope to interest them for my art school. I send you a link when it's up and running. Thank you again for the nice compliments.

I second pretty much everything BananaSandwich said... lovely piece, and unbelievably realistic, especially with the expressions and poses -- absolutely astounding job with the folds and creases in the clothing, too.

This is fantastic! I'm a huge fan of Gene Kelly and can barely believe this was done in pencil, even if you traced *which I highly doubt you did* this it's amazing. Wonderful

And I didn't trace it. I grabbed 3 photos of Gene Kelly from the net and resized them roughly to the size I wanted to draw them. I also used them to determine my composition. After that, I used those pics just as reference. Started in the top left corner and doodled my way to the right hand corner.
