I've been working on some next gen ideas, and I'm pretty intrigued by the idea of Chrysalis using all that love she took from Shining Armor to try to make another queen. Long story short, she failed and Shining Armor got stuck with a son, and Flurry Heart got a big brother: Indomitable Heart.ΒI'm still working on his character, but I'm pretty excited about him.

Aww. Flurry Heart resembles the Previous Crystal princess (her mane) more than resembling her own mother. If you have read the origin of sombra comic then you know that the previous Crystal princess's name is Amore and looking at flurry heart their manestyle is the same.

I wasn't planning to do a full fanfic, so much as a series of vignettes so I didn't have to worry about doing it all in order. If I come up with many more though I may publish them together as a fanfic.

I have always liked the idea that Shining armor had father an illegitimate foal from Chrysalis, that he will have to raze as his own and that he has to be confronted with the pain of the horror of what Chrysalis did to him, a taint in his honor fidelity toward Cadence Β and he has to fight he idea that he the foal is not that bitch that the foal shouldn't be held responsible of that happened during his conception, that it should be given a blank slate for its life. I would be quite a challenge for SA and Cadence to accept that foal as their own, and wouldn't be blamed to if they didn't want to do anything with the foal, at least provide it what it needs to be razed in a good environment to grow up if at a distance, and it would be to their of eternal credit if the managed to over to overcome the pain the it presents would remind them and show it the kindness of a loving parent to their foal.
For what I can tel of this image he seems to be very caring in his eyes, and not an once of resentment to him, toward his other sibling, if may seems a little reserve and nerves of his surrounding. Β I am looking forward to see how you will develop his personally.

Thanks! My current take is that he love his sister, and his foster mother, but his relationship with Shining Armor is incredibly strained. I think it got a little better after he earned a cutie mark, but I don't think Shining Armor will ever really accept him. I'm working on fleshing this out further.
