Commissioned by , her character Azual versus the Skeleton King's dragon.

I wasn't required to digitally paint this but I felt like making another try at it since my last one a few months ago. I decided this would be the "Flying Fire" update since that work is so old now I can't bear to touch it again. I was given the freedom to use my own style of dragons on both of the characters and so that is why I reinterpreted the SK dragon. Although I would have been happier if he didn't have fur. Furry dragons don't sound too ferocious and they get annoying to paint.

I'm planning to offer digital paintings as part of my commissions, but because they take so much time to make I don't want to be wasting that on flat-colored cartoon characters. Right now I don't have a price set since I spent about 20-25 hours or more on this, but I would have a higher base price. Really if I were making these regularly I'd want to be getting 75-100 dollars off them and that's still ripping me off. Sounds like a bit much but I'm also not working on a small canvas; this one is about 17x14 at 300ppi. Anyway, if someone wanted to put something on a mug then I'd adjust the canvas to wrap around it and it wouldn't be so enormous. I just don't have access or much printing knowledge so I don't paste things on products to mail around.

I managed to snapshot some of my steps throughout the process so eventually there should be a little tutorial uploaded.
