I actually had an assignment where we had to mimic another artist's style.These are all made up characters drawn in these particular styles:
The Secret of Kells, Kim Possible and the new Justice League.
The assignment required us to draw only one style, but it was a style least natural to our own. The geometric shapes used in Kells was actually difficult for me to imitate. From what I understand of the critiques, the dragon armored woman was a more successful mimic than the other two, but she is similar to my style already.

Secret of the Kells! *freaks out* I think you managed the face and expression, and the overall idea of the style is very close. I think the Kim Possible style is near spot on--I saw that sketch and immediately recognized the style.

I actually thought the Secret of Kells one was your best, simply because it was such a departure from your natural style. But the other two came out great as well.

Oooo! Look at all the robotic elements! Looking good. I particuarlly enjoy the dragon armored girl and the Kim Possible one. Awesome!

XD You would like the robotics. I could have been more creative with the armor but there wasn't enough time to worry about it.
