Description [link] <--THIS. Made my day last night when showed it to mexD

Seriously, it's such an awesome vid, I love the music and lyrics and it reminds me so much of Fire Emblem's Ike. I think Hawke (Dragon Age 2) and Ike (Fire Emblem 9&10) have much in common... So I had to draw them in same pic.

I listened that song all the time (I love you YTrepeat<33) while sketching and colouring this. It's very quick and not very accurate pic, I'm sorry for all the mistakes (especially anatomical>.<) but I didn't have much time to use for this little doodle. I'm working on the commissions and then I'll have to do some college work.

But I hope you like it

I'm so proud of myself that I actually used my tablet to colour this8D I'm getting more familiar it little by little... The colouring looks SO DIFFERENT than my usual worksxD

Dragon Age II (c) Bioware
Fire Emblem (c) Nintendo & IS

Maybe move to scraps later if I feel like doing so.

That is a really random crossover, but I like it.

Ike is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay fucking cooler than Hawke though.

I own 2 DA2 t-shirts too.

Haha that's what I thought while drawing this tooxD I like Ike more too, he is one of the protagonists I actually like|D And even though he's kinda like everyone else thinking that good always wins and he's not the smartest guy in the group but has a big heart, he can still keep his cool and not be annoyingxD

lol I seriously need to play those games sometime...

Ike, especially in the first game, is really integral to the story, a lot of the events are out of his power but he shapes what happens around him...Hawke doesn't, Hawke is a passenger in what happens! Ike is idealistic but he's not stupid, he's straightforward and simplistic, but that's a big difference to stupid. You don't do what he has if you're stupid. Soren is the tactical genius, why does Ike need to be? Also, it gives Ike a flaw, something he doesn't have to rely on someone else for...otherwise he's just too superhuman!

Which ones? ¬_¬

ScytheDancer In reply to Eaglelives [2011-05-03 13:21:06 +0000 UTC]

Oh so Hawke and Ike don't have so much in common after all... Well at least the song fits both games so the picture isn't a complete failxD And yeah, I agree with the fact that Ike has to rely on Soren for tactical advice, too many times the main hero of the game is the one solving all the problems.

Eaglelives In reply to ScytheDancer [2011-05-04 02:41:13 +0000 UTC]

There's lots of differences. I could list many.

You should play Dragon Age Origins, it's one of the best games ever made. DA2 is a good game but it's like comparing Die Hard 2 to Die Hard 1, it's actually pretty good in it's own right but it's not even close to as good as it's predecessor. I am disappointed by this.

Agreed, FE9/10 Ike is the main character but it's not just his story. This is a good thing.

I have been thinking of getting them sometime soon Maybe on summer... And my friend mentioned about Origins being better than II so I'll try to play it first when I have the chance.

I love it when in FE games (well, later games, not in the early ones really...) there are lots of characters but still they are all individuals and we can tell them apart easily. Everyone is sure to find their own favourite and choose to train only the ones they have the will to train.

Eaglelives In reply to ScytheDancer [2011-05-06 21:44:08 +0000 UTC]

Origins is truly excellent, on the XBox the gameplay doesn't work as well as it does on the PC (Get it on the PC if you have the choice!) but everything else is just as spectacularly fantastic. Marvellous, marvellous game. DA2 isn't a bad game in it's own right, but it's a temple of doom to raiders of the lost ark, or die hard 2 to die hard 1, it's good...but not even nearly as good as it's predecessor.

I haven't played the first 5, although I've played Shadow Dragon so in a sense I've played 1. I do love how big the cast is, in each of them. Though tbh I don't care about basically anyone in SD. Marth is quite whiny. Shiida is awesome...that's about it as far as the cast goes, can't remember anyone else. I much prefer how they have real conversations while in base in FE9/10 than in the rest of them. Just kinda helps create characters and a world better imo.

I have played FE6-10 plus the remake of 1. I have played FE5 for about 3 maps but I didn't have much time to use for it, and in the version I played only the story/dialog was translated so it was a bit difficult to play the maps when you didn't have enough time to get used to and translate the remaining japanese texts. Now I think I could try it again on summer since I'll have much more time than last summer.

I agree, in SD the characters were very boring. Or well, they could have been good if they had just said something more than "oh great I'll join you", Shiida was awesome, but I think that was it... I hated it how they basically removed the support conversations from FE10. I would have loved to know more of those characters and their interactions... Especially how the support conversations would have been between those characters that had already met in FE9, like how Shinon would behave around Janaff after 2 years of their conversations about laguz and beorc... But well, at least they did have those "info" conversations in the base.

Oh gosh now I wish our Wii would work, I would so love to play some FE10 now|D But I guess I gotta play FE9 again as soon as my holiday starts...

Eaglelives In reply to ScytheDancer [2011-05-15 00:18:29 +0000 UTC]

Haha, yeah I ain't going to play the games until they have a full english translation. I'm told FE5 (Thracia 776) is the most difficult and most complicated but I'm also told FE8 is one of the best fire emblems and I thought it was easily the worst of the ones I've played. I can barely remember anyone in it and that's not a good sign seeing as I keened it up playing that for ages.

It's not unique to SD though, I could say that about FE8, possible 6+7 too. I think the conversations in base, regardless of supports in both games are extremely good at making each character memorable. Yeah I know how they removed the support convos in FE10, they were really good in FE9, but the info conversations are what count as conversations for all the games bar FE9, which had those conversations + support convos too. It's one of the big reasons FE9 is my favourite FE. Shinon is a prick, he probably would have been worse to Janaff just out of spite.

What happened to your Wii? The ones I've had have been as reliable as clockwork in a way 360's and PS3's just aren't. I play FE9 on my Wii anyway, it's really useful the gamecube compatability.

ScytheDancer In reply to Eaglelives [2011-05-15 17:50:50 +0000 UTC]

FE8 was the second one I played and I enjoyed it but I'm not as big fan of it as I'm of FE9&10. And somehow I think the gba games were much easier compared to FE9... Dunno why it felt like it. But I enjoyed the "Eirika's way" and "Ephraim's way" since it gave a good reason to re-play it after first playthrough not that I wouldn't re-play them many times just for the heck of itxD

I love the support convos in FE9, and I think that FE9&10 had some more "relaxed humor" in the dialogues than in the previous games. Or then it's just me.
Yeah, Shinon is not the nicest guy in the crew and he has some strong opinions about other people but I kinda like it that he doesn't become friends with Ike|D I mean, usually the protagonist (not in every case of course, but still) is friends with every companion they have and turn even their enemies into friends. Ike is loved by a lot of characters in the game (and for a reason) but Shinon still dislikes him as he has always done. It's hard to explain but I guess that what I'm trying to say is that not everyone love the main characterxD

And I'm glad they actually gave Shinon some nice support convos and made him a guy that has a soft spot for a little boy, Rolf (without turning him into a tsundere). I loved their convos where Rolf gets angry at Shinon and Shinon tries to tell him nicely what he thinks with the result of making Rolf cry, but then again happy in the end|D

It's actually my big brother's Wii. It works otherwise but it doesn't play the games, so I think it's the disk reader that's damaged... The problem is that my brother is waiting for the next console and doesn't really want to get the Wii fixed (he's lazy...) and I don't really have the money to pay for fixing it. But I think I'll try to ask my friend to lend me his Wii for few weeks so I can play RD again when my holiday starts>w> ...Except I gotta play it twice so I can play the hard mode|D Now I'm glad we have our GameCube working like a dream<3 And I hope the new console will play the GC and Wii games. (and I'm 80% sure it will, Nintendo is much nicer than Sony in that matter).

Eaglelives In reply to ScytheDancer [2011-05-23 01:06:12 +0000 UTC]

Yeah I enjoyed it, but I still thought it was the worst. Many things in it just kinda baffled me too. FE7 Hector Hard Mode is really difficult. The rest of them...I dunno how hard they are in comparison, but all I know is I'm currently playing RD on hard and I am NOT doing that again...When I played the GBA games I played on an emulator, so I could use the save states, bondari reload anytime anyone died, so I could abuse the arenas crazily. I did like that they had those two different ways you could go, but I have only played it once and I don't want to play it again, so

I generally think it's funnier and I do like how the support convos/info conversations do help make it feel like everyone knows everyone. It's a problem I have with many games that when you have a group, they need to FEEL like it. They need to at least acknowledge each other, it needs to feel as if you couldn't just remove 3/4 of the characters and it'd be fine.
Shinon is a douche. That's a good point though to be fair, most protagonists are just liked liked liked. So having one complete douchebag that doesn't is kinda cool. Ike is pretty damn likeable though, cause he's epic epic win. Shinon is just jealous, at first it's cause he thought Ike was daddy's little boy, wasn't any good and it was he who should be the next in line for the company. Then Shinon realised Ike was faaaaaaaar better than him, was still angry about it!

Yeah he does have some less douchey moments in RD but he's still got that bit where he manages to insult Lyre and Kyza has to drag him away. Cause he's a racist douche! Er, what the hell is a tsundere? Rolf gets more upset than angry doesn't he?

Ah. It could be as simple as dust in the drive. It'll be a couple of years till the next nintendo console, but they're announcing it at E3 I am told. Ahahaha, yeah you should borrow it. I am raging at the hard mode, I don't want anyone to die so keep restarting when anyone does, any silly bloody mistake and have to restart, spent like 12 hours or something ridiculous on the first chapter of part 4...sigh. I'm assuming it will have the capability but I'm not sure how the controller will work

ScytheDancer In reply to Eaglelives [2011-05-25 18:19:50 +0000 UTC]

I have never tried to play Hector's Hard Mode... Guess I'll have to try that this summerxD I have played RD two times on hard mode. Though I stopped and re-started the whole game both times right before the battle with Ashera|D I dunno why but I didn't feel like finishing the game with the group I had, so I re-started it (though I guess the upcoming finals at that time had something to do with it too|D I always play when I should be reading for exams OTL)

Which story you played? Eirika or Ephraim? If you go with Eirika you'll get a nice story for Joshua and with Ephraim you'll meet Knoll and he'll tell you an interesting story too. I first went with Ephraim I think... Well, guess I should play that one again too, now that I unstand English betterxD

Yeah I think in FE the group members interact with each other very well, and the difference to other games is that in FE you have a whole army of characters and they are all individuals. I also liked those info convos in PoR how there were few of those "as a general I want to talk to everyone of the army" where Ike talked with a lot of new units.

Yeah Shinon is an assxD And I agree, at first he doesn't like Ike just because Ike's "just a kid who gets everything" and after he loses to him it's just jealousy. And I like it how he stays as he is, he brings variety to the castxD Yesterday when I finished PoR again I giggled when Shinon said something like "you're expecting some kind of a compliment? Well too bad I won't give any." Oh and yes, a tsundere means a character (usually male, but also female) that acts tough and badass but in reality is a "big softie". Usually they "reveal their true sensitive self" when a girl they like does something to them. Or that's how I have learnt it. Some sources say it was originally used from characters that are first cold but after a while show some warm feelings too. But I think now it's used more like I described.

We thought it could be dust, too, but we can't check it because we can't get the Wii open. We don't have the right kind of tools to open the screws since the normal screwdrivers we have don't fit... And here where I live they don't sell the right ones in stores, we would have to order one via internet and that would be kinda lot of trouble for just to check the possibility if there is dust or no. So my brother isn't willing to do it. But I'll still try to ask my friend if I could borrow his so I could play the game once|D

I'm quite sure that if they make the new console able to play Wii games, the controller will be either suitable for playing them or then it just requires a Wii controller. Now I'm actually getting excited about the new consoleX3

Eaglelives In reply to ScytheDancer [2011-06-06 00:51:45 +0000 UTC]

Yeah it's pretty damn tough, in my experience only RD on hard compares. That's pretty damn random, why on earth did you do that? If I was going to restart it I'd do it at the start, otherwise I'm finishing the damn thing. You restarted just to procrastinate? You odd individual.

I played Eirika's and I have no desire to play Ephraim's, SS is so bloody easy and I just don't care about anyone in it, tbh.

I don't think it works well in EVERY FE, I think that PoR/Radiant Dawn are the ones that do it the best by a long shot, probably why they're my favourites. I agree, I liked them a lot. I'd have preferred more conversations between other, random characters. Like Mia talking to Calill, or Largo talking to Ilyana.

Yeah, I'd happily slap him. I do agree, he does bring variety to the cast, he is about the only dude who is in the cast for sure and is an intolerant douche. Pretty much for the whole series, there are some betrayals, sure, but not generally a douche who doesn't. Haha, yeah. Shinon can't handle Ike being as awesome as Ike is. Poor baby. Ah, ok. Ahahahha, I get ya. I guess Squall from FF8 would be one?

Yeah, that sucks. They are pretty unique, I doubt they sell the right ones in stores where I live and I live in a city of 8 million people. I'd assume you'd have to order them online here, too. Yeah, I get that. I find it easier to order things online than go in and search though, less effort to use google than my legs ¬_¬ Yes, borrow Wii!

Yeah I will not be surprised. I could definitely see them having some way to use both Wii/GC controllers, especially as the Wiimote just requires a little software on a wireless, which I'd assume they'd use for their next controllers too. It won't be out for a few years, Skyward Sword is coming first! That's what I want!

ScytheDancer In reply to Eaglelives [2011-06-19 16:34:28 +0000 UTC]

Hehe I have no idea why I don't feel like finishing the gamexD Maybe I just hate it when the fun ends... I don't play the games to "beat them", I play them to have a lot of fun (like other gamers too, but to me the fun is much more important than beating the game). And yeah, I think did start just to procrastinate tooxD

I think I played Eirika's first too... But then I got interested in Saleh and Knoll and how the hell did they end up following Ephraim. Knoll tells a nice story, but I dunno if it's enough to pick up the game again. Though Myrrh is interesting too.

I like the variety in the cast plus the fact that not everyone thinks the same or everyone who thinks otherwise would die. That's something that I have seen some beginner artist to do btw, to make a mary sue and make everyone in the story to think as she does. Well that was offtopic but still.
I also love the Ike vs Shinon jokes that end in Ike saying "and that's why I'm the commander."xD

LoL 8mil people in one city... That's more than the whole population of my country in one cityxDD I live in a "city" of ~100 000 people|D

Well, at least we now know that Wii U can play Wii games but not GC games... Damn>.> Well, at least our GC is still working and is trustworthy<3 But I'm not very excited about Wii U yet, I'm interested but not excited. Though I'm excited about Skyward Sword! ...But the graphics aren't as impressive as in TP|D Not bad but I liked more the TP ones.

(btw sorry for the REALLY slow reply...)

You are odd I finished RD on hard today, that was a struggle for the vast majority of the game. Finished the last two maps in 7 turns total though. Nasir and Gareth/Ena's pools are insanely useful at beating the shit out of Sephiran + Ashera. I understand what you mean, I enjoy the story so much though that I really want to finish games. Can start it again if you miss the gameplay! Haha, nicely done procrastinate to the end of the world! I may do this.

I guess I should play Ephraim's play through at some point, but it will still depress me as to how easy the sodding game is especially as I just played RD on hard which is actually sodding hard.

Yeah, I do like that there is tension in the group and it's not just all a bed of roses. Every story and every group in real life should have people who think differently. Never see a heist film with a group who all think exactly the same! Never see a cop show or film with a bunch who think the same! Thinking differently improves results, increases drama and interest.
Yeah Ike does love to lay the smackdown.

Yeah London is a large place! It's got a bigger population than Scotland, too, which is quite funny considering how weird british politics is. Nicely, my borough of london has double that

Yeah it'll be annoying that it can't play GC games but mostly annoying because it means no GC controller for any games. I am pretty sure my Wii will continue to work for a long long time though, Nintendo stuff works forever. Haha, yeah exactly. We'll see how the WiiU works out, atm it's basically an unknown, no real games made for it to show what it is. I'll get it though, if nothing else just cause I know future Zelda games will come out on the platform. I am looking forward to Skyward Sword. I quite like the art style, it looks like an oil painting and is just generally a very pretty style, though I do prefer the more real style of OoT/TP.

It's all good

I stilla haven't gotten the Wii from my friend.. Hes slow at finishing games|D He's been playing Metroid Other M which I lent for him for 3 weeks now... Well, I guess I'll have to wait till August at this rate|D

Haha when I visited Japan last summer I was afraid of drowning to the mass of peoplexD I'm just not used to places with LOTS of people. The biggest city here has about 1mill people|D But I guess it's not so bad after getting used to it, and in Japan I got used to it fairly quick though we weren't in the biggest cities.

I sure hope they'll give more info about Wii U soon... Iwould like to know more because I know Nintendo has much more to tell about itxD And I'm waiting for the games too, especially a new FE would be nice, not another remake... But yeah, it's worth buying even if it would be only for new Zelda and Mario gamesxD That new Smash bros is making me a little bit more excited~

Eaglelives In reply to ScytheDancer [2011-06-30 00:17:10 +0000 UTC]

You should get on that! Is he just crap or never plays? I'm assuming the former but I'd want the latter. Metroid Other M any good? I gotta get Metroid Trilogy for the Wii sooner or later, I want to actually finish that before I play Other M at some point. Samus Aran is one of the all time great game characters. Only a month and a bit, relax

How was japan? Crazy? No danger of that, chill out ¬_¬ Well you live in a very small country, it's like the size of something very small. Population wise, anyway! It's just a different way of living, it's not better or worse than places with less people. I always imagine going to Tokyo would be utterly insane.

It'll come out in drips and drabs around big gaming conventions where they'll do big announcements that don't really tell much. Not sure nintendo can really tell us much about it until there are some games that can show it off, properly. Not their 'chase a mii' game, but something more like mariokart or Zelda. Currently playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 the orientation is doing my head in New Smash Brothers, new F-Zero, new Fire Emblem and New Zelda are the 4 games I want!

I think he's a bit of bothxD Sometimes he screws up even the most easiest missions (talking about games in general) but then again he can beat me in SSBB anytimexD I guess it's mostly because of his lack of time... Because he is moving to a new apartment but that's progressing slowly. I hope I'll get it before my holiday ends|D

Japan was very nice, though the weather was something very different from what I have used toxD It was hot and wet, first few hours I felt like suffocatingxD But then I got used to it and actually enjoyed it. The city we spend the most time in was around the same size as Helsinki (Finland's capital), about 1mil people, but it didn't feel like there would've been too much people... Maybe because most people were at work when we were walking around during the days but I didn't really feel bad even when walking in the crowds in the afternoon. We did visit Tokyo (airport of course, but also spent a night in a hotel) but it wasn't even near the center so there wasn't so much people. Though I would have gladly experienced it even oncexD But traveling there was awesome anyways

Oh my gosh new F-Zero would be awesome... How damn long has it been since GX was released? Way too long if you ask me... Good thing a new Smash Bros is coming and I really really hope they'll include some characters from Ace Attorney and Tales of games... Even as assistsxD

Being good in one game doesn't make you excellent at every game, although if he's like world class at SSBB then I'll be impressed ¬_¬ That's fair enough, I suppose, he has a valid reason ¬_¬ I am sure you will

Yeah I do hear it's pretty humid but that will likely change depending on when you went. What time of year did you go? You enjoyed it? How long were you there, that must have taken aaaaaaaaages. Ah, so not too many people to cope. Well, we'll see how you cope with being in a crowded tube train in oxford circus if you come to london Yeah I want to experience central tokyo at least once. You've got waaaaaaaay closer than I have ¬_¬

2003, a full 8 years god damn. I think we're due one soon, at least for the WiiU, comeon Nintendo, F-Zero is win. How are characters from Ace Attorney going to help? ¬_¬ One of the Tales of characters was in a Soul Calibur Wii game. Not sure it'll get into SSB though ¬_¬

I went to Japan in the summer, July-August (went in July, came back in August). It was the midsummer so no wonder it was a bit hotxD Well, we were there for almost two weeks, it was for the tournament so our main teacher wanted us to be able to get rid of the jet lag before the tournament so we went there a week before it. The flight took us 12h straight from Helsiki to Tokyo, then we waited some time in the other airport and flew to Kagoshima, that took about 1,5h so we were able to sleep a bit on that timexD But in total I think I kinda stayed up for... 30+h? I couldn't sleep on the longer flight... But it was okay after 2 days, I felt good

I never got to the central Tokyo but I guess 2h by train from the Hotel (in Tokyo, near Narita's airport) is closer than GB|D I really wanna go back though.. I enjoyed it very much. Though my friends said they wouldn't probably have been able to spend more time there anymorexD Maybe it was because of the language barrier... They didn't speak Japanese at all and in Kagoshima the people didn't really speak English at all... But I was able to communicate somehow with my noob JapanesexD (and with the help of my dictionary and the very friendly Japanese people)

lol my friend had actually got a pretty good ideas for the moves for Phoenix xD Yeah it was Lloyd in the Soul Calibur, I never played it but saw some vids. I wish they would put some Tales characters as assists at least... And a new F-Zero would be damn nice. High time already. Also I would appreciate a new FE too|D new, not a remake plz|D

Yeah I'd hope it was warm What tournament was it? 12hours? I'd have expected it to be longer, but I guess it was over the arctic circle rather than over russia. Nice, I was once on a bus to Barcelona for 24 hours, that was fun.

Hahaha, yeah, definitely close than here. Well, that's good then It might have been the language barrier but also could have been because the japanese are nutters Very friendly nutters, but nutters all the same. Seriously their gameshows, among other things, utterly insane. Probably why I like them. Haha well good on you I can't speak japanese at all, I am awful with languages.

Does he just generally go OBJECTION and speak a lot? Thats about the only way. I've got it, it's ok, nothing spectacular though. I do enjoy running around beating the crap out of people with Ivy though. Tales of isn't really a 'nintendo' title though, is it? Of course there are a few exceptions (Sonic, Solid Snake, but thats pretty much it). Yeah, dont put any motion controls in it too, that would be lovely. Yeah a NEW one, for sure.

It was a tournament of Renshinkan Karate.
We actually did fly over Russia but it took 12-13h only, it was straight from Helsinki to Tokyo 24h by busxD? I think I would either try to sleep (I love sleeping in car actually) or then watch the changing scenery.

Yeah some things in Japan made us go "wow seriously? No wayxD" but I was actually very glad when we were able to wash our clothes in a "coin randorii" (coin laundry I guess...) since it was so simple (put clothes in the big washing machine and pay the price, wait a while and take the clean clothes out, very good when on a trip and don't want to wait for your turn for the hostel's washing machine)xD I wish we could do that here too but I guess it would be impossible in our culture... Those machines would be broken by idiot youth who have nothing better to do than break public property=_=' Btw how's the situation there? I heard there are riots in Great Britain. I really don't even get the reason why they are doing it, I have read some news articles about it but can't really see a good reason for all the violence, especially I can't understand the crimes people do.

lol my friend gave me examples like "up+B could be STEPLADDER! and he could throw a notebook while yelling TAKE THAT! and smash attack would be OBJECTION!" I liked those ideasxDD Yeah, Tales of series games are for many platforms... But Symphonia was originally on GameCube so Lloyd (or Kratos, since he's so popular) could be in next Smash, though I hope the new characters will be cool... And just no Shadow from Sonic... Please>_>

I assume you know to kick my ass then?

Not too bad then? I hope you got up and moved around a bit. Yeah London to Barcelona, with a ferry ride thrown in, was long. I tried to sleep, but the dude next to me made that hard. Was OK on the way back though, I didnt sit next to him. I find it hard to sleep in the car, even with a pillow. The scenery definitely changed, yes.

Haha, I'd expect to be surprised if I was in Japan. It's not unique to Japan, not even slightly! Got them here and in the U.S, I'm sure there are many in finland if you look. Yes, waiting for a hostel's washing machine could be a long long bit of trouble. Well, it works in ours and we just had riots! Yeah, they're over now, it was bizarre. They were basically doing it because they could, government is cutting police numbers and when they actually put police out in force it ended. It's almost like police numbers is directly related to crime prevention! All sorts of people of all ages were doing it purely because there was an opportunity to nick shit, but conversely, all sorts of people of all ages were helping in riotcleanup, where a bunch of people got brushes, bin liners and everything and helped the councils clean up their areas, donating food and toiletries to those who had homes burnt in fires or lost their shops.

To be fair, they do have Peach in there and all she ever does in actual Mario games is go 'OH NO I'VE BEEN CAPTURED.' and 'THANKS FOR RESCUING ME', she can't hit things! Theres a character in Tales of called Kratos? I doubt they'll have Shadow in it, although I won't actually be surprised if they do. I'd expect Tails, Knuckles or Robotnick first though.

lol I think I can defend myself, yesxD

I'm actually pretty good at sitting long ways in vechilesxD But I did change my position few times|D In a car I can fall asleep almost anytime, in the plane it was harder for some reason.

lol I was actually talking about the kind of place which is open 24/7 and is only like 20 square metres big and looks like a garage with 2 big washmachines and 2 dryersxDD We have those public washmachine places here too that work with coins but I didn't expect to find them in like every other corner in JapanxD
I'm glad the riots are over... I couldn't believe my eyes when I read about them and the damages in the news paper. And the reasons they gave when being asked were just ridiculous>.> I'm glad people are helping each other though, it would be sad if those who lost almost everything would have to survive alone.

Hah yeah Peach has been very useless character in the Mario games when it comes to fighting but now she has her own game so things are a bit more believablexD Yeah there is a game Tales of Symphonia and one of the important characters' name is Kratos, this one [link] (though I like his other outfit way better. It would be cool to have it as "colour change" in the next smash brosxD)
I would prefer to see more characters from different games rather than many different characters from the same game... Mario games are an exception of course|D The other characters would be nice to have as assist trophies. Isaac from Golden Sun would be nice to finally have as a playable character.

My apologies for the long reply, I've been working and things, this is a long thing to reply to and I'm a bastard.

I love a girl who can kick my ass. - Spike Spiegel. Also, Dave.

I'm a bit too tall and a bit too fidgety to be good at it. Usually very uncomfortable. Haha, good ¬_¬ I'm not great with either. Planes are also baffling, sometimes I'm awesome, sometimes my ears pop and don't sort themselves out for days. It's weird.

Those have got to be HUGE washing machines, god damn. Ahahaha, well yes, they are not that common here either. Yeah, it was awful, really was. Especially when you had random Olympic poster girls taking part in them. The girl who worked at currys being arrested for looting currys...riiiight. Fired much? Yeah they weren't protesters, they were opportunist thieving dickheads. Simple as. Yeah there's been some excellent get togethers to help out When the police turned up in decent numbers it just ended, though.

She's beyond useless. She's repeatedly a massive damsel in distress and I HATE them. It's the worst when I see them in films, pisses me off so much. Yeah she may have had her own game, after TWENTY YEARS, but she's still a massively useless piece of useless. He's not as badass as God of War's Kratos, this is for sure. Haha, guys at work have a homebrew modded version of Smash Brothers, where you can have a Cloud skin for Ike, Sephiroth skin for Marth, among others ¬_¬ I'd prefer that too, but only if Mario games were not the exception. If it was just Mario + Pokemon that had their numbers cut, I would like it a lot. Also, toon/young link can fo. Travis Touchdown I'd love to see in one.

Sorry for my late reply too|D

lol they were HUGE indeedxD But cheap to use<3
I'm glad to hear the riots are over and people are helping each other to clean up, I really hope those who committed crimes will be forced to take responsibility for their actions>.>

Yeah Kratos is ToS is not as badass as the more famous Kratos, but I still like him betterxD Mainly because of his part in the story of ToS and the bonus episode jokes in the anime versionxD Though sometimes I think his fan(girl)base is a bit crazy...
lol I would love to have some custom skins in smash brosxD I have only seen vids on youtube (someone actually made Lloyd too I think, he's the protagonist of ToS<33) Young Link was never a character I would play as, but Toon Link is cutexD And I like his movement animation, looks pretty nice. But yeah, I would rather have completely different characters instad of clones with almost identical moves...

I started a reply but being a douche, went to another webpage by accident, Sigh.

Good Did you clean like all your dirty clothes in there at once? ¬_¬ Yeah they're definitely over, thankfully. I really hope so too, I haven't heard anything about it in a while though.

Haha, yeah you can definitely like someone better than GoW Kratos, he's not a likeable character, he's just really powerful. It really annoys me how in God of War 1 there is a reason he's doing all this shit, then in the second two it's essentially he's doing it for the complete opposite reason. What makes the fangirl base so crazy? Apart from being fangirls, obviously.

Some of them are hilarious, Wolverine for Captain Falcon for one. Yeah i know who Lloyd is, he's in Soul Calibur: Legends, controllable character in it I imagine he is Pit if he's in it, no one else has two swords, wouldn't quite work elsewise. Young link was massively overpowered apparently although I couldn't abuse it, Toon Link apparently similar though not as much as Meta Knight. Fair enough You can't get those though, it's the nature of a world of copyright, so many people would have to pay so many others, there is zero point in making that game. Also, each different company would want their character to be better than others blah blah blah. It is also really annoying how this futuristic bounty hunter in a power suit with missiles, guns and lasers fights relatively evenly with a portly, small italian plumber. This may get worse if the Master Chief enters the Fray vs Aerith.

You know, you shouldn't really feel so bad about this!="D I really like it, because it just feels raw and quite fresh and spontaneous.=")
This colouring style is definately different to what you normally do but it's still great, I think if you developed this one a little more both ways would be really good to have in your range and also to have that choice.

There is something that speaks real inspiration in this, because like you have said you enjoyed watching and listening to those two things and that was like fuel for this~
Just off topic a little, it's weird how I realised that it's much easier to make art from listening music than it is to make music from looking at art...
But anyway xD Awesome work~

Thanks, I liked to colour this one since I was able to just randomly draw with the tablet with no fear of "will it look neat or 'good'?"xD And working with tablet is much more comfortable and faster than with mouse... Not easier but it's much nicer to have a pen in your hand rather than clicking a mouse.

Yeah I was in a very good mood when drawing this onexD I listened to the song over and over again and felt like "this is why I love drawing". I can't say how much harder it is to make music from looking at art because I don't do that and I think making music is hard alwaysxD And that's why I think it's awesome when someone can make a song that sounds good~
