Description
I'm spending the month of August in my old home town of Bel Air, Maryland following my regular meet-up with friends during Otakon in nearby Baltimore.I spent most of my life in this area, but didn't appreciate any of it until leaving. Now whenever I return I try to combing every little place I can find for interesting (to me) sights, like this alley in Bel Air's "down town" district. I love weathered, overgrown architecture and alleys are some of my favorite things to explore.
I used to work for one of the down town office buildings, but at the time, I would rush home and never stop to check out all the cool, aging buildings.

Nice. I too have a fondness for old, weathered alleyways. There's a really neat one in my hometown of Ann Arbor that has a wall almost completely covered in rock-hard used bubblegum. It's gross, but neat.
You know, there's an artist you might like named Xavier Nuez. He makes these gorgeous, weirdly-lit photographs of decaying, abandoned buildings.
