Like most non-parents, I resent the impossibility of shopping for any length of time without hearing someone's child start wailing like it's being tortured, for no apparent reason other than being in a store. Sometimes it isn't even a baby, but some atrocious nine year old who should have long outgrown the behavior.It may just be that in their primordial, half-formed baby-brains, they know what's in store for their wretched souls on the other side.

The best ones are always the kids in strollers who are clearly way too old for strollers. Seriously kid? You're like, six. Stand the fuck up and quit crying.

Awww, come on... Babies NEED to cry, because they can't articacitulate. Something doesn't feel right (an itchy spot, a mild summer brise, an unexpected sound or sight, general confusion at being alive), so they scream, pure mechanics. Do you blame a door for creaking?
Now as for older kids, I got nuthin'. At some point you cannot expect them to ever grow out of this phase. So, you know, kill 'em with fire.

Actually the screaming goes back to the primordial days. It's the crude but effective way of saying, "I am the center of the universe! Ignore me and I will let the predators know where we are until you appease me! Tremblingly obey!

This deserves such a big LoL x3 I am 23 and my mother still does this to me whenever we have to go shopping for this or for that, since the only time I like going out is when we go anywhere with animals or with games (Fuck I hate going shopping for clothes).
