I just realised, how does she speak? Technically she doesn't have lungs, and even then, flies and maggots couldn't do it for her, since they are incapable of speech.

She reminds me of one of my favourite characters from superhero comics. Swarm! A nazi scientist made of bees nesting around his skeleton. He has a purple cape and white gloves, because he might be a sadistic gestalt consciousness permeating a swarm of murderous insects, but he is not without style!

Although you've already defaulted to an "It's magic!" stance on the matter; I can't help but imagine she's held together by silk secreted from the larvae.
Also why does she need a skull? Judging from the rest of her anatomy, it looks like she doesn't really have problems maintaining structure.

All of her expressions here are fantastic, but I think the great big grin on the far right might be my favorite, though I quite like those two rather flirtatious poses as well.

Yeah, I don't think it'd be unpleasant. Maggots give off a whole lot of heat, and they're not naturally slimy, they just seem that way when they're eating a juicy corpse.

...Son of a finch, those are some clever maggots. If not for our horrific case of larvaphobia, we'd love to hang out with Magdolene. As it is...we'd probably have to explain to her that it'd be best for both of us if she stayed at least five feet away from us at all times. Any closer and our trigger finger would start twitching...and we favor flamethrowers and high-temperature lasers, so that'd suck pretty hard for her.
It says something about you that an animate skull surrounded by innumerable maggots and flies is more...conventionally attractive than most of your other female characters. She's certainly got a lot of personality, and she still looks like she's a walking (slithering?) mass of insects without having every single one detailed (which probably saves you a few headaches drawing her). Having her "hands" merging into herself when she touches her body is another nice means of conveying her...um...unique nature. Additionally, that big maggot behind the rightmost image is oddly cute. Is that her personal pet or something?
Actually, we have one tiny question about this girl. How can she support her mass on such a tiny tendril of maggots? Is there some kind of super-powerful psychic field holding them up?
