This is one of many ideas I've had lying around as a doodle for months and months, but never made into a comic because I didn't think it was good. Lacking any new comic ideas for quite some time, I'm down to these last-ditch back ups. This writing block couldn't come at a worse time, either; I was just offered a regular comic-making job by a pretty big website, and still have nothing to show them

The sprite is the boss "Grimgrin" from "The Guardian Legend" on NES.

Maybe some collaboration would help you out. Talk to some people you trust about your ideas and perhaps they can help elaborate or point you in a new direction. Especially with that comic job you've got hanging out there!

I only played it on a rental as a kid (and couldn't get anywhere) but it has a pretty big fan presence, and many other awesome bosses. Grimgrin is the most famous though; he SPEWS eyeballs, and a character talks about how disgusting he is
