I did love the usage of the technology that they had, not to mention that the villains were very diverse and a few of them were especially deranged/ creepy.

I gotta say, I regret having voted for this codswallop instead of Kitty Bobo. But in reality, for all its genius, Kitty Bobo probably would've tanked.

I liked the show until I realized that kids can't be hit by a monster and survive the blow. After a couple of episodes of that I stopped watching it. It was good, but stupid as well.

At first I thought this was Ed Edd and Eddy. xD Because I thought the stick was plank and Number 1 was Double D. And then I read the artist's comments. I kind of liked this show, if only for the pretty weird/cool villains...That reminds me, are you going to do Ed Edd and Eddy?

I'm only doing one more cartoon network comic, and a show like EE&E doesn't take itself seriously enough to make fun of. All the weird, gross, twisted and crazy shows like Cow and Chicken or Courage are impossible for me to make weird enough for a comic.

It was nothing exceptional, although it did have its moments. Some of their spoofs were excellent, especially the Dragon Ball Z one and the Indiana Jones one with a melting chocolate villain. And I also remember one with hamsters shedding their skins and becoming ghosts - that was pretty creepy.

The Delightful Children from Down the Lane were sorta creepy too...especially that time when they had someone tied as a pinata and they had Numbu 3 blindfolded and said "Remember dear, the harder you SWING...the more CANDY will come out..." That was like a really cool disturbing line from some cheesy horror movie or something.

Lol! His finger has an angreh faic too.
I actually liked this show pretty much. The world was detailed and well-thought-out, most of the spoofs were hilarious (Animatrix, LotR for example), and some of their gadgets were awesome. And I wasn't much younger when this was aired here, so I wasn't really a kid anymore.

The villains were especially clever, I loved the hideous food-monsters (who FORCE YOU TO EAT THEM) made by that one demented lady, who symbolized the "weird foreign relative" phenomenon kids might run into.

Yeah I saw that episode many times...
I remember things like the crazy cat-loving old lady and her giant cat golem made of, surprisingly, cats.
The episode with the Alien-like lice was also great.
I also remember a... giant monster turnip, I think

heh, my favorite episode was the one where they spoof the animatrix second renaissance but more because I liked the original subject matter then the show itself.

Don't forget, they also spoofed Monty Python's "NOBODY expects The Spanish Inquisition" sketch!..except it was the Spinach Inquisition instead. Guess I am a heathen for loving to eat it.

raw, in quiche and lightly sauted spinach is quite good. But I don't much like it when it gets cooked into that mystery green mush that so many people insist on serving it as.
That would be like some one taking iceberg lettuce and boiling it then grinding it into mash... its just not right.

Did they use the song Seewolf, even? It wouldn't be the Second Renaissance without that song.

"Kid's Next Door."
The show is about a secret society of children who use makeshift weapons (made of toys and garbage but far beyond modern technology) to fight the "tyranny of adults" (i.e. supervillains whose only goal is to make kids do homework or eat broccoli)
Actually better than it sounds, I neither strongly like nor dislike it

Had a corny charm and some very clever villains (and some that were just plain deranged, like Count Spankula, the spanking vampire)...but I always felt funny watching a cartoon whose main characters would hate me for being over 12. The leader (the kid in my comic) never pronounced the word "adult" without extreme disgust.

Nothing inspired them really, but I'm definitely not doing Courage. Courage is perfect, it can't be made fun of, and it's already aware of its weirdness
