It's Cordyceps! Though I believe there are several types of parasitic fungus which make insects do this? Would be pretty scary if there was a species which infected humans...

Took me a while to get the joke, but it just clicked. I'm liking the angry face on the Tomentella. Reminds me of an alien on Darkwing Duck, oddly enough. It kind of bothers me that the guys are doughy cartoon characters while the girl is realistic/shapely, but it's not like you're the only cartoonist who does that.

There are some nicely proportioned dudes here and there in the coloring book, though.
