Description
This was not easy. I had the same problem with my last submission, "White": in the original photo, the background is black. After scanning it, some parts of the background were kind of blue. I had to fix it in PS, which was easy in the upper part of the picture, but the lower part was really hard, and that's why the lower part looks a bit weird and unnatural...Related content

I love the lighting on this. Especially that you are able to hold the detail in the shadows. Nice job!!!

Thank you - I was just experimenting with different lightnings and was quite surprised that it turned out that well

Everything about this image is beautiful, and I cant see a single problem with the background needless to say you captured the 'pure'ity of the flowers effortlessly, dont know what else to say really!

No photographer myself, so I can't offer any real critique, just compliments. Nice. Seriously. Really- okay - beautiful.
Is the border with the title needed? I kind of just like the flowers.

I am still learning things about my scanner/printer, but something you might want to check into is if it might be calibrated correctly - look in the manual to see if it says anything about colors not scanning correctly and how to fix it. I think you did a good job in adjusting the background color. Something strikes me as odd, the bottom stems are in focus then when you travel up to the upper half of the stem near the flowers they are unfocused and then the flowers are in focus...did you do any softing or smoothing around the middle portion of the flowers? Something else that I find interesting about the photo is you pair one red flower with a white flower. Contrasting color symbology that white is pure and red is not.....interesting enough the red flower may be looked upon as "influencing" the white flower away from being pure in that the light cast on these two flowers is adding a pink tinge to the white one seen just at the upper top petal.

contrast are very difficult to capture, weather it be light and dark or black and white. I think you have done a crediable job here, and the result is an image that is a wall hanger, nice work.

The title fits in so well with the photo, indeed the flower is so pure! The touch of pink adds to the shyness to the flower!
