Rainbow Dash and Zephyr Breeze were dating for a short amount of time, due to Fluttershy's suggestion. Zephyr had planned to propose to Rainbow, but it all went downhill when she discovered she was expecting Zephyr's foal. In a fit of anger, Rainbow broke up with Zephyr. After that, Rainbow never saw Zephyr again, thus never letting Cloudy meet him.
